要旨 In this paper a newly developed reference materialwas applied to the estimation of the frictional resistance of the shear box apparatus. Then, the shear box test apparatus was used to investigate the rheological characteristics of fresh concrete, using shear stress growth method, and shear rate growth method, respectively. A series of shear tests were performed to examine the effects of test method, vertical pressure and specimen’s dimension on the mechanical responses of fresh concrete to small and slow shear deformation.
