要旨 This paper presents the comparison of experimental and numerical analysis to determine ultimate capacity of steel pile anchorage in concrete filled steel box connection. In order to simulate the post peak behavior of the connection, a new equation for fracture energy of confined concrete is presented. The fracture energy equation is verified with more simple concrete filled steel tube cases and then installed in the FEM program. Based on the experimental results conclusion can be drawn that the load-deflection curve obtained from the simulation show good correlation with the experimental data.
