要旨 This paper discusses the strengthening effect for RC beams with CFRP strand sheets and PCM as a bonding agent. Three kinds of RC beams?one non-retrofitted beam as a control beam and two retrofitting beams with one and two layers of CFRP strand sheet?have been tested. Both theoretical and numerical analysis model were made to confirm the results. The obtained results showed that the strengthened beams increased the maximum load capacity of RC beams.
