要旨 Currently, no study is published discussing the behavior of high Nickel weathering steel in concrete. The present research, therefore, will provide a baseline data about durability performance of high-Ni steel embedded in concrete. A series of steel specimens were subjected to laboratory immersion test, simulating the effect of alkalinity, oxygen, and chloride ions. The time-exponent of the famous power-function was used to compare its effectiveness with conventional steels. Results showed that the material does not produce any rust that has corrosion protective effect when used in concrete.
