要旨 PCEs have been widely utilized in the concrete industry due to the flexible molecular design for various applications because PCEs adsorb on the cement surface resulting in significantly improved workability. However, PCEs can also exhibit surfactant-like properties resulting in undesirable and unstable air. This paper presents the results of an investigation on an Amphiphilic PCE with the capability to inherently produce stable, good quality air-voids suitable to impart freeze-thaw durability, as well as to improve the rheology of fresh concrete.
