要旨 |
Reinforced concrete beams with a narrow vertical slot at the beam-end were tested to examine the shear transfer mechanism at the beam-end region. The narrow slot was installed in the bottom 3/4 of the beam immediately adjacent to the column. The bottom longitudinal reinforcement was continuous through the slot. In this special beam when the bottom is in compression the shear must be transferred through the small section of concrete at the top of the beam which is in tension. Five specimens with the different arrangements of shear reinforcement were designed and tested. The results show which arrangement of reinforcement gives good shear transfer. |
