要旨 |
The results of comparative shear tests are reported on reinforced concrete beams without web reinforcement made with lightweight aggregate of different oven dry densities ranging from 0.85 to 1.87 g/cm3. It is shown that diagonal cracking loads became lower with equal shear span to depth ratio and tensile steel ratio as the density of aggregates reduced. The shear strength of these beams was calculated by Niwa's equation where a 70% reduction factor was applied constant for every lightweight aggregate concrete beam according to JSCE code. For comparison Walraven's equation was used to take into account the degree of the reduction in dry unit weight of concrete. |
