要旨 |
This paper describes the effect of bond between reinforcement and concrete on the shear behavior of reinforced and prestressed concrete beams. Seven beams with different bond conditions were tested till failure, while stress-slip relationships for these specimens were obtained from a parallel series or simple pullout tests. A numerical analysis was also conducted to simulate the beams tested. It was found that bond condition of steel bars and prestressing bars highly influences the shear strength and failure model of RC and PC beams. A reasonably good correlation was observed between the experimental and analytical results. |
