The effect of concrete strength on long term cracking of concrete member was investigated experimentally. Two concrete compressive strengths of 45 and 100 N/mm2 were adopted. Comparison between calculation and experiment results showed that, in high strength concrete members, JSCE Code equation overestimated maximum crack width specially as reinforcement stress became small. In additon, Considering bond stiffening and fracture energy in tension at cracked concrete section would improve the accuracy of calculating of crack width.
