Properties of concrete and paste are related to its microstructure. In order to understand the microstructure of concrete, it is necessary to quantitatively determine its cementitious hydration. However, until now there is no proper method to measure hydration degree of fly ash-cement system. In this paper, we purpose the new method; superposition between XRD analysis/ Rietveld analysis and selective dissolution. By using this method the amount of unhydrated cement, unhydrated fly ash, Ca(OH)2 and hydrated gel can be estimated. |
