The effects of specimen’s dimensions on bleeding of fresh concrete in static and vibrated states are experimentally investigated, respectively. Then, a model is presented to describe the time-dependence of bleeding capacity, and the quantitative relationships between the parameters in the model and various influencing factors are examined. Also, the variation of bleeding rate with pore water pressure is discussed. Moreover, it is observed that final bleeding volume in static state can be predicted by the total bleeding during the 5 minutes vibration. |
