要旨 In this research, eleven reinforced concrete (RC) beams using high strength concrete (HSC) were tested to clarify the shear strength and failure mechanism. The experimental variables include compressive strength of concrete (40, 100, 160MPa) and shear span to depth ratio (a/d=3, 3.5, 4). According to JSCE code, the shear strength of RC beam increases as the concrete strength increases. However, the experimental results showed that, the shear strength of RC beam using HSC did not increase.
