要旨 |
Direct tension tests were performed on reinforced high-strength concrete (HSC) members. Using the results obtained from the experiments, the effect on tension stiffening was examined. The test results showed that as HSC was employed, not only were splitting cracks along the reinforcement more extensive, but also the transverse crack spacing become smaller. Thereby, the reduction in the tension stiffening effect by employment of HSC is much greater than that would be expected. Based on the present results, a new empirical model is proposed to predict tension stiffening of HSC members. |
