In order to estimate the concrete's non-uniformity through the measurement of bleeding capacity, a non-destructive measuring method of water-cement ratio (W/C) distribution of concrete was firstly developed, following by the experiments to examine the relationships between the bleeding capacity (Bc) and the segregation index (Si), standard deviation of W/C of fresh mortar and concrete. The experimental results indicate that the Si and the standard deviation of W/C are greatly related to the Bc. With the increase of the Bc, the Si and the standard deviation of W/C increase. |
