要旨 |
This paper presents the prediction of shear capacity of reinforced concrete (RC) strengthened with ultra-high performance concrete (UHPC) overlay based on application with modifications of current design codes. Two different methods were individually used. The first method was investigated by converting the percentage of volume steel fibres in UHPC to an equivalent longitudinal steel ratio. The second method was adopted as a sum of two components of shear contributions provided by RC member and by UHPC layer. As a result, the computed shear strength showed a promising result. |
