In this study, the shielding effectiveness and electrical conductivity of the hooked steel fiber (HSF) and the amorphous metallic fiber (AF) reinforced concrete was evaluated. AF have a large number of fibers per unit weight and wide specific surface area, which is advantageous in forming conductive paths. Accordingly, the electrical conductivity and shielding effectiveness of concrete mixed with AF were evaluated higher than that of HSF. However, since the shielding effectiveness reaches saturation in AF of 0.5Vol.%, studies are needed to improve saturation by mixing AF and other conductors in the future.
