要旨 The location of sensors to all floors is preferable to estimate displacement in structural health monitoring system; but not a practical solution because of limited accessibility, e.g. Fukushima nuclear power station (NPS). In this paper, the optimization of the number and location of sensors applied to NPSs is evaluated with the effect of stiffness degradation on the response. Linear and mode estimation methods are used. The mode method using 2 sensors show error in the displacement estimation lower than 15%, while for both methods the error increases to 30% if the stiffness degradation is considered.
