要旨 This paper presents a review of available prediction formulae in the literature to estimate shear crack width in concrete members. Influencing factors affecting shear cracking behavior are extensively discussed, and shear crack widths and crack spacing calculated from each design equation are compared with those obtained from available experimental results. Finally, a rational and simplified equation for the calculation of shear crack width for partially prestressed concrete members is proposed.
